A Porcelain & Oil (P&O) Bushing Test Laboratory is a dedicated facility for testing and qualifying porcelain-housed, oil-filled high-voltage bushings. The lab conducts a full range of electrical and mechanical tests — including power factor (tan δ), capacitance, partial discharge, withstand voltage, and insulating oil analysis — in accordance with IEC 60137 and IEEE C57.19.04  standards. Its primary purpose is to verify that every bushing meets specified performance requirements before shipment, supporting factory acceptance testing (FAT), type testing, and routine production quality control.
